# VIRGINIA — VCDPA
Virginia residents may have rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act ("VCDPA").
We may use identifiers, Internet activity, commercial information, and location information for targeted advertising.
We do not receive monetary consideration for your information and therefore do not sell personal information within the statutory definition used by the VCDPA.
We also do not use profiling to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
Subject to applicable exceptions, eligible Virginia consumers may have rights to:
* confirm processing;
* access personal information;
* obtain qualifying data in a portable format;
* request deletion;
* request correction;
* opt out of targeted advertising;
* opt out of qualifying profiling;
* make qualifying requests through authorized representatives; and
* use supported preference signals where applicable.
Privacy requests may be authenticated using information already collected about you.
Where a request is denied, eligible consumers may appeal within a reasonable amount of time and no later than 90 days following our decision.

Depending on the right requested and applicable law, we may need to verify your identity before completing the request.
If the information supplied cannot reasonably be matched with our records, we may request additional information. If we cannot authenticate a request using commercially reasonable methods, we may decline to fulfill it where the law permits.
Certain opt-out requests may not require identity verification.
Where an appeal right exists, consumers may challenge our decision using our privacy-request process within the applicable statutory period.
If you believe we have violated your rights and the matter cannot be resolved directly with us, you may also have the right to contact the appropriate Attorney General, consumer-protection authority, or privacy regulator in your state.
